Implementation Overview

Important:

Throughout the implementation process, we will hold regularly scheduled phone calls to provide training, gather necessary content, and understand the needs of your business. Someone will be contacting you shortly to schedule a kickoff call. During this kickoff call, we will review the flow of implementation as outlined below and answer any immediate questions you may have.

Management Of Your Project

Open and regular communication will be necessary to hit critical milestones throughout the onboarding process. To help us be transparent in his process, XOLogic has partnered with Asana to track and manage tasks, milestones, and deadlines. During our first call, we will explain how Asana works, and provide you with login credentials to monitor the progress of your project.

Understanding Your Business

To help us understand the needs and uses of your XOLogic solution, please be prepared to discuss the questions below during the kickoff call. This information will be used to configure your XOLogic system to complement your business.

  1. What are the biggest pains you currently experience with your product data?
  2. How do you currently receive your product data?
  3. Where are your currently storing product data?
  4. How do you currently display inventory levels from your store and from the supplier?
  5. How do you manage pricing of your product?
  6. How do you determine cost?
  • What are you using to calculate the sales price (markups, IMAP, list price, etc)?
  • Do your markups vary by product type or by customer?
  • Is your pricing the same online as in the store? If not, what’s different?

Product Data

Good management of product data will help your business compete. Great management of product data will help your business thrive. The XOLogic solution is designed to help your business flourish by delivering the right data to the right places at the right time. The XOLogic solution is designed to promote your preferred products and preferred vendors when products are being searched. To enable this functionality, we invite you to provide the information below. This information will also help us understand which suppliers we can approach together to improve product data.

  1. A list of your suppliers including a priority ranking of each vendor.
  2. A list of your top 200 products including item number and supplier name.

Trainings

Your XOLogic system is designed to streamline the way you do business. A series of training will be provided through the onboarding process to help you establish the fundamental settings and configuration of your platform while introducing you to more advanced features and capabilities of your system. Training videos and one-on-one additional trainings are also available to help your team become power users of your XOLogic system.

  • General Training (users, preferences, locations, tax settings, shipping, etc.)
  • Data Training (vendors, item attributes, searching, etc.)
  • Pricing Training (settings, markups, tiers, etc.)
  • Customer and Account Training (account management, order creation, customer logins, etc.)

Support

As in any project, it is possible that we will face challenges along the way. If this happens, we believe communication is the key to overcoming those challenges.
