Enabling Marketing Banners

Enabling Promotional Pricing on your BigCommerce Catalog

Requirements:

• BigCommerce Catalog

Important Notes:

Only one banner per category or brand page

Steps:

1. Login to your BigCommerce dashboard
2. Go to Marketing > Banners
3.  Click the  “Create A Banner” button to create a new banner
   1. Create a Descriptive Name for the Promotion
   2. Download Image Asset from data provider and Upload Image
   3. Select image to make it blue and setup the following:
      1. Set a dynamic link for the image
         1. Generate link by going to brand page for the vendor and selecting the appropriate filters for the promotion. Example
         2. Copy and paste generated link after. Example
      2. Center justify the image. Example 
   4. Select which page to show on. We recommend setting up one for brand and category using the same dynamic link above. Doin this will ensure when the banner is clicked on only applicable products will show.
   5. Set Promotional Dates – Banner will automatically push and pull based on dates selected
   6. Set Location – Set to “Top of Page”
   7. Press Save
